DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop 3D models of electrical systems and components using CAD software
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate the performance and safety of electrical designs
- Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability and compliance with industry standards
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for electrical designs
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs
- Support manufacturing and installation teams with technical guidance
- Participate in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts and implement necessary adjustments
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations and best practices
- Continuously monitor industry trends, tools and technologies to improve design processes and outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on 3D modeling and design
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and circuit design
- Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB or similar
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.
