We are partnering with a leading BPO company in Portugal to recruit an Operations Customer Expert – Banking Expert for the Spanish market, supporting one of the UK’s most innovative digital banks.
This role is designed for professionals with experience in banking or financial services who want to apply their expertise in a dynamic and international environment in Lisbon. You will provide expert support on banking operations and ensure accurate and efficient resolution of complex customer issues.
Your Role
- Provide expert customer support via chat, phone, and email for Spanish-speaking customers.
- Resolve complex banking enquiries related to accounts, payments, disputes, and transactions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for banking operations within the team.
- Handle fraud investigations, chargebacks, and complaint resolution with high attention to detail.
- Deliver informed guidance on banking and financial services processes.
- Support and share knowledge with teammates when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Your Qualifications
- Fluent Spanish and good English (spoken and written).
- Minimum 12 months experience in: Banking / Financial services / Insurance / Claims, billing, or collections.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle complex customer cases independently.
- Comfortable working with multiple digital platforms and banking tools.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
The Offer
- Full-time position in Lisbon, Portugal.
