partnering with a leading travel management, corporate card, and expense management company to recruit a Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their Paris-based team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality support to corporate travelers, handling bookings for accommodations, flights, rail travel, and other business travel services. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless travel arrangements, assisting with self-service tools, and ensuring compliance with company and customer policies.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Paris, offering the opportunity to work in an international and fast-paced environment while supporting business travelers worldwide.
Your Role
- Provide customer support via chat, calls, and emails, ensuring a smooth travel experience
- Stay up to date with relevant travel information, destinations, and service providers
- Assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences efficiently
- Handle complex travel bookings, including flights, rail, accommodations, and additional services
- Assist customers with self-service options on travel platforms and apps
- Ensure responses are timely and aligned with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain compliance with company and customer policies, following global travel standards
- Provide feedback to stakeholders on service improvements and key processes
- Participate in team discussions on industry trends, products, and service providers
- Stay informed about best practices in business travel
- Meet attendance, training, and performance expectations
Your Qualifications
- Fluent French (C1), both written and spoken
- 5+ years of experience in a business travel consultant role, handling air, rail, and accommodation bookings
- 3+ years of experience using GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) – Mandatory
- Experience in customer-facing roles or contact center environments
- Proficiency with tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce
- Ability to work rotating shifts (Monday to Sunday, 7 AM – 11 PM)
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle customer issues efficiently
- Professional, empathetic, and excellent communication skills
- Additional language skills in German, Spanish, or Italian are a plus
